great product in small package...just what rv community needs with all the justifiable campfire limitations nationwide. We are full time RVers and are always limited on space and this is the only way we can have a gas fire pit.
One thing to note is that however you cut the legs, be it laser or stamping or something else, it leaves really sharp edges that I had to grind to make them safe. I was concerned that when i reached in the bag i would slice myself open. better finishing would likely be in order, but otherwise a great product.
I bought the tripod after I saw it being displayed at Flagstaff Overland Expo 2024 I was intrested. Then I built my own knockoff lava box I loved it, but the carbon build up kept getting my other gear dirty. This tripod was a game changer its way cheaper lava box smaller and compact. Set up is very easy and cooking on top of the metal plates is very nice. I dont have to worry as much about cleaning it only takes one paper towel. My only set back on tripod is the parts are machine cut and have some sharp edges that can easily sanded down. Over all I love it and it is permenet part of my overland gear!
This is better than any fire box, and I have owned a few. Compact and puts out lots of flame and heat. Easy to store and small foot print. It’s awesome.
Light weight and puts out great heat. Not sure how it does o fuel yet. But I like it
